My project and focus for the moment is the Zulu War of 1879.
Currently on the work bench is the British colonial forces for the invasion of Zululand. The figures are all Redoubt miniatures and they are being based for the Black Powder rule set.
My first unit is the 21st Lancers, a unit of 10 mounted regular lancers. I think this will be my only unit of regular cavalry within my force as i prefer the look and feel of the irregular forces of this period.
Above pictured is a ten figure mounted element - this unit is still not finished as the basing has to be completed and the lances need their pennants
