Zulu War Colonial Mounted Units

I have attached the three colonial units i have under construction those being the Frontier Light Horse, Natal Mounted Police and a Mounted Boer unit.

Each unit consists of 12 mounted figures and when dismounted 10 figures mounted to skirmish with two horse holders per unit.

Zulu War 1879

My project and focus for the moment is the Zulu War of 1879.

Currently on the work bench is the British colonial forces for the invasion of Zululand. The figures are all Redoubt miniatures and they are being based for the Black Powder rule set.

My first unit is the 21st Lancers, a unit of 10 mounted regular lancers. I think this will be my only unit of regular cavalry within my force as i prefer the look and feel of the irregular forces of this period.
